Study description

Dear All,

I am a MEng student at University College London and am looking for participants for a remote VR user study. There will be £10 compensation (Amazon voucher, in the currency of your local region). The experiment should take around 35 minutes.  You will be required to navigate through a series of mazes using different navigation techniques, and answer some questions after each maze. To compensate you for your time, we will give you a £10 amazon voucher (in the currency of your local region) once the study is completed.

This study has been approved by the UCL Research Ethics Committee (Study ID Number 4547/012) All data will be collected and stored in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Participant requirements

During the experiment you will be asked to complete tasks using one of the following:

• Oculus Quest 1
• Oculus Quest 2

To participate in the experiment, you will need to:

• be over 18 years old
• own Oculus Quest 1 or Oculus Quest 2
• be able to stand and move around unassisted for the duration of the experiment
