Study description
I am conducting a study to evaluate a virtual reality (VR) locomotion technique that I have developed. The aim of this research is to analyze the locomotion system to determine if it is successful in increasing spatial awareness compared to teleportation and decreasing cybersickness compared to joystick continuous travel.
The experiment consists of filling out a pre-experiment survey, performing several tasks within VR using multiple different locomotion systems, and completing a section of the post-experiment survey after completing tasks with each locomotion system. There is no compensation for participating in this study. However, your participation will be valuable to my research and findings and could lead to users experiencing a more enjoyable form of locomotion within VR.
If you have any questions do not hesitate to reach me via email at aja323@cornell.edu. Thank you!
