Learning Neural Pathways in AR mobile application

Study description

Would you like to gain a better understanding of neuroanatomy pathways?

We have developed an Augmented Reality application to help with one of the most difficult topics in neuroanatomy, the ‘Neural Pathway’.
Here, our aim is to evaluate the application and explore the effectiveness of the AR application compared to traditional resources.

What will you do in the project?

  • In this study, you will participate in two learning sessions, each with a specific experimental condition assigned: (1) using the application and (2) using a PowerPoint presentation with voice over.
  • For each session, you will be asked to complete a pre-test, complete the lesson, and then complete a post-test, a cognitive load and motivation survey, and a usability questionnaire.
  • The participation time for each session is estimated to be 30-45 minutes.

More detail on the experiment can be found in the Participant Information Sheet
