The Trip

Study description

This research is the second phase of my dissertation in MSc Serious Games and Virtual Reality with The Glasgow School of Art. The study aims to develop a multimodal immersive virtual reality experience, that will educate individuals on generalized anxiety disorder. Participants will learn about different anxiety triggers that individuals with anxiety encounter and the symptoms that are associated with these triggers.

The environment will be an experience where; you would live the experience from the first-person point of view experiencing the symptoms of anxiety. You will follow the path around the scene and complete tasks whilst experiencing multimodal interactions.

You will be required to answer a series of questions before and after the VR experience to evaluate the success of the VR application and awareness of anxiety and presence.
